Go to your Profile and click the picture you want to delete. Click 'Delete' in the menu at the right hand-side of the photo. Remember: deleting photos cannot be undone.

Don’t forget to add new photos on your Hawaya profile, to make it more attractive:
Go to your Hawaya profile and click 'Add photo'. Follow the steps.

If you had more than 25 photos on Netlog, you can still save the other photos on your computer. Simply go to your Settings to save your content.

  • Can I add videos on Hawaya?

On Hawaya, we like to keep things simple. For that reason you can’t add videos, but feel free to send the links to your favourite videos to people you like!

  • Why don’t you accept my profile photo?

Hawaya has 3 different photo categories: profile photos, public photos and private photos. The purpose of a profile photo is to show who you actually are: you - and only you - must be clearly visible in the photo. Your age and gender need to match your profile photo.

Unfortunately, your profile photo does not suit these new requirements. Most often, this is due to one of these reasons:
    - you are not in the picture
    - your face is not clearly recognisable on the picture
    - several people are in the picture
    - the person in the picture looks older or younger than the age on your profile
    - the gender of the profile does not match the gender of the picture
    - the picture contains nudity or weapons

It would be great if you could add a profile photo that clearly shows your face. We promise you a lot more fun if you do so!

  • How can I change my privacy settings?

Only registered users can see your Hawaya profile and you can block any person you don’t like. On all profiles and in all messages, you'll find a 'Block this person' link in the menu. Blocked persons can no longer contact or visit you. You won't see them in Discover or in your search results either.

Via Settings, you can choose to only make your profile contactable by people with a verified photo.

Hawaya has 3 different photo categories. Your profile and public photos are visible to everyone that can see your profile. Your private photos, however, are only visible to members that explicitly got permission from you to view them. To disable access to your private photos, go to Private Access in your Settings and click Edit. Select the people that no longer should have access to your private photos and hit the 'Remove selected' button.

  • What happened to my statistics? All of my visitors disappeared?

On Hawaya, you can find the number of recent visitors on your profile. Please note that your profile only shows the number for today and for the last 30 days. Only you can see your ‘lifetime’ counter.

Unfortunately, your Netlog counter is no longer valid on Hawaya, so we had to reset all counters. However, we offer you these features to turbo charge your profile and get people interested in you:

    - Put yourself in the Spotlight
Putting yourself in the spotlight is a sure-fire way of getting the attention of people you want to meet. Select your best profile photo, write a short greeting and voilà - instant fame!

    - Get seen 100 times in Discover
Want to know a really easy way to get new matches fast? We can feature you 100 times in Discover, guaranteeing you quality matches in record time!

    - Send a surprise message
Receiving a message from someone is nice... but why not make it really special by adding a personalised surprise? Add a song, add a photo, add a gift... go on, express yourself and stand-out from the crowd!

  • How about the Netlog iPhone app?

The Netlog iPhone app is no longer operational. However, the good news is that Hawaya has a great iPhone app, a lovely Android app and a fantastic mobile site. That’s because we know you’ll want to take Hawaya with you wherever you go.

Find out all about our mobile apps here.

  • How about the desktop tools? (Netlog 24, Music Tool, Uploader)

The desktop tools have been deprecated a long time ago. If you still have them, now is the time to fully remove them.

To replace Netlog 24, you can install the Hawaya Windows or Mac app or Hawaya Notification for Chrome or Firefox.

You can choose whether you want to receive mail notifications daily, weekly or not at all - that’s totally up to you. You can always change your mail notification settings by going to Settings. Click Edit next to 'Notifications' and choose your preferred notification settings. Don't forget to save your changes!

The Uploader does not need to be replaced: on Hawaya, you can upload multiple pictures at once and edit them afterwards.

Unfortunately, there is no Music section on Hawaya, but that doesn’t mean Hawaya won’t be swinging :)
